On finding a beautiful scottish elm we produced this minimal piece with ‘floating’ drawers.  Suspended from arches gracefully cradling the underside of the glass top. Made out of  sycamore, as a result this produces a striking contrast.

Notably this amazing piece of elm is perfectly mitred, giving the impression of the grain wrapping around ninety-degree corners.

Especially relevant is the inclusion of a handmade, spring-loaded mechanism. Once found it will trigger the opening of a secret drawer.
