After salvaging and rebuilding a mechanism of a 1940’s gramophone. We used it to create this new and modern piece, clean lined with a vintage twist. Fuming the Oak down to a golden brown brings out the vibrant colors of the beautiful panels, made from a storm damaged yew tree.
Designed to protect your records the luxury leather turntable, in addition produces an amazing sound. Glass panels were inset into the crisp frame. Therefore allowing for a clear view of, the amazingly restored brass mechanism. Due to which you can fully appreciate in all its glory.
Inside the box with the mechanism where shards of 78’s originally made from shellac, after been reactivated this was then applied to the piece as a finish.
